Style Story Link Up I Learned a Lesson Weekly Style Work Style

Oh! I learned a lesson last week. Basically, I found out that I really like my options. I was trying to follow the October Capsule Wardrobe I’ve been offering as an optin if you join my email list. I mean, if I’m going to promote a capsule wardrobe, I should be able to follow it. But, this past week I found out that I like my options. No, let me amend that: I love my options. While I tried to follow the items in the capsule, I deviated greatly. I think this is ok, but also rather hilarious. Now that I know this about myself, I am definitely not adhering to something for one very long month! I can see how capsule dressing is a great idea for travel or certain situations. In the meantime, I’m scheming of a better optin for all of you to join my email list–unless you’d just like to join just for future Kremb de la Kremb updates. If so, link here. (Don’t worry. I’m not creating an email list to spam you rather for the day coming soon when I can really, professionally offer my style services to you. I’m just one assignment shy of becoming a certified stylist!)

  1. Love the two floral skirts.
Blogging does through up some interesting insights, doesn’t it? I personally could never stick to a rigid capsule wardrobe. I’m too much of a magpie, in terms of colours and prints plus I like spreading my wings abit, as you have discovered too. Some people like frameworks and capsule wardrobes can give that. Others find them restricting. It’s just a question of working out where you are on the spectrum – all valuable information. And I love that you’ve discovered that and are reworking things. That’s an important skill (and in life too). To learn to read a situation and then react accordingly.
Sorry, I wasn’t going to write such an essay originally!

    1. I love your thoughts! And I’m with you. It was so odd, but I could just NOT do it! I’m having such a better week of getting dressed this week too. I love getting dressed–I actually think it’s fun. So why would I ever want to limit myself!? I’m not going to!! Love, Ann

  2. Ann I’m with you on not being able to stick to a restricted wardrobe… I find it so difficult on holiday when you don’t have access to your whole wardrobe!! I’m very envious of your shapely brown legs in sneakers and a skirt – it’s a look I’d love to wear but it’s just soooooooo unflattering on me. And I ADORE Friday’s KDLK tee!!!!!

Thank you so much for hosting, hope to see you at #iwillwearwhatilike when you wake up! 😉

    1. Do you want to know what I usually do when I travel? I think you do the same…. I purposely leave out something with the intention of HAVING to pick it up along the way. I find some great pieces htis way!! Thank you for the sneaker love. To be honest, I’m starting to get real sick of them. Ahhh, oh well! Here’s to link ups!! Love, Ann

  3. Thank you Laurie. I hope you stop by again! I’m getting my certificate through The London College of Style if you’re interested…I’m excited to officially be one! Love, Ann

  4. Hi Alex, I’m with you and the graphic tees. My collection is now billowing out of control. I actually KNOW I need to stop! But then, I read one, and I totally relate, and it’s mine! Haha. One time I went through an exercise of trying to name/describe my style. It was very interesting–and also pretty darn hard! A friend had asked me, so I turned it into a post. Here it is if you’re interested: https://www.krembdelakremb.com/describing-style/

    Thanks for linking up Alex!
