Leggings are For Sundays X 4: Sporty, Cozy, Dressy, and Urban

I have a pair of leggings that are usually worn on Sundays. It’s the weekend, and I want to be comfortable. I don’t want to be sloppy–that’s not my style, but, I do want to be cozy. I copy my sister a lot. If Julie says it’s good, I’m on board. When she recommended these Vince leggings, despite the price, I pulled the trigger and got them. For a staple piece, I have not regretted this investment. Yes they are leggings, but they are super tailored, and with the little flare at the cropped hem, they’ve got the perfect amount of spunk. For this post, I’ve demonstrated how I wore these leggings for the past four Sundays in January. Do you wear leggings? How do you perk them up so that you don’t look like you’re in your pjs?

Sporty Leggings

For a hike around the Peak, I needed layers. I had a denim shirt, a sweatshirt, plus a moto jacket. Oh don’t forget the multicolored scarf. I wore my “best boots” from my mom. They’re both super comfortable but also supportive to get me around this 3 k walk.

Cozy Leggings

For a baseball game, I’m gonna need to be warm, hence the cashmere, oversized sweater. Now, this was a very cozy, casual look, so to add a little glam, I wore some fancy earrings–make that earcuffs. Plus wearing my studded boots added a little edge.

Dressy Leggings

Even though these are leggings, all it takes is a pair of sparkly boots and an over-the-top coat to add some glam. If I need to be dressed up in a sec, I’ll just throw on these two items and presto, I’m set. Wam bam glam. That’s the power of glitter and leopard!

Urban Leggings

For walking about the city, comfort is key but being hip is too. So, out come the converse. For warmth I wore a beanie and for goods collected along the way, I toted my leopard backpack. A sturdy army green jacket adds one more layer of warmth with some funk over my plaid shirt.
