I’m back in my Urban Jungle, Hong Kong. I love Hong Kong dearly, and I really feel for its people right now. Many of you wonder if we are ok in Hong Kong. Are we safe? The answer, for now, is a wholehearted YES! We are very safe in our Southside neighborhood of Stanley. Where we live is a tourist destination. While I can’t speak with authority about the situation in Hong Kong, I can pretty much guarantee that there will not be protests in Stanley–it’s too remote, and it’s too small. Hong Kongers come to our neighborhood to get away for an afternoon lunch by the sea.
Daily I pass by this tree–if it can be called that. It’s growing on a wall. It’s fabulous to look at. Right to the left of the wall is out local flower lady. She’s tucked into the creating a little makeshift kiosk of sorts. It works! And she makes beautiful arrangements. What I like about it is when Kevin buys me flowers, I know Kam, that’s her name, is making the arrangement especially for me!
Once again, I got myself a Target goodie! This time I tried a new brand: Wild Fable. It’s a very bohemian line at Target even though this piece is quite utilitarian. I love it! Every now and then I really enjoy embracing army green; it really suits my eyes. Even though I prefer to try to make them blue, in real life, my eyes are quite green. I guess it’s fair to say they are chameleon and switch accordingly.
For some other army green looks hit up these links on Kremb de la Kremb: my Maharannie post, Jungle Love in Malaysia, an Asher Lev and Sun is Also a Star book post, this green shift dress, Sun is also a star. See? This is all evidence that I try to embrace this sagey, army green every now and then.
Shop Wild Fable
I did a little more shopping at Target under the Wild Fable label. Here’s what I found–oh, and along with the romper, I also have the sparkly sunnies!
