This was the night of the actual Thanksgiving date, Thursday, November 27.  We had planned to leave for Lonavla on this day, but with the tragedy that was happening at this time, we stayed in.  We roasted a chicken and had mashed potatoes and green beans.  Luckily, we had made pumpkin walnut bars (the recipe has been posted here, and they are so good!), so we had those for dessert.  The day was a somber one, but putting up the tree with two adorable kids is a definite mood lifter.
