Target Wish List for April
It’s just about the middle of April, and therefore it’s time for me to head over to Targé and make a wish list. It’s basically therapeutic; shopping at Target relieves just a bit of the homesickness that always occurs about this time of year when spring break is over and the long haul to summer is upon us. It’s not quite time to start counting the days, but if I were to do so, I’d find that there are around 40 or so days left of school. Put that way, summer is coming soon… Just think, during the months of June, July, and August, this wish list will be a what I purchased list! In the meantime, here’s what has grabbed my fancy today on April 12th!
1. Cat Eye Glasses: I have plenty of cat eye sunglasses–in various colors, yet I don’t have any versions of this eyewear style that curl up like these do just like a cat eye wing tip of eyeliner. I especially love this style, so I’d like one more pair!
2. Deodorant Wipes: I have exactly nine more sheets of these deodorant wipes. That’s nine sheets to get me through to the middle of June. I will run out, and our local Sasa stores have options, but the coconut smell of these wipes is heavenly. This product is a winner–especially while traveling. I’ll buy in better bulk for next school year.
3. Candle: I’m allowed to always include a candle with any visit to Targé. And, I always veer towards a candle that can be utilized after its use. This canister will be such a pretty holder of something after it’s burned down. (And I’ve burnt this one at my cabin; I know it’s a beautiful smell.)
4. “A” Mug: This is going to sound soooo silly, but I actually do this: I match my mug to what I’m wearing. A colorful, floral one will match almost anything, so this mug is a must for me! (Hint to others–it’s always safe to give me a cute mug.)
5. Floral Pendant: This cute little floral pendant reminds me of something I would have loved as a teenager. Some things never change! It’s so dainty and precious. It’s the perfect spring going into summer necklace. Plus it’s real gold plated over silver. Even though it’s the most expensive item on this list, for $25 that’s not too bad.
6. Cold Massage Roller: I’m a sucker for the things I see happening on Instagram. I love following Grace Atwood from The Stripe. She’s been showing all of us her cold massage roller, and I feel tempted to give it a try…
7. Jewelry Storage Trays: Ok, I’m incorrect: this is the most expensive item coming in at $34.99, but I’m really trying to get organized. There’s a reason it’s called “spring cleaning” after all. I think this jewelry tray organizer would be a godsend for my mess of a drawer. It’s time to get Marie Kondo’d.
8. Boho Gold Hoops: I need another pair of gold hoops like a hole in my head, BUT, these ones are simple yet boho all at once. I could see myself just wearing them all summer long.
9. Happy Blend Essential Oil: Who knows what this smells like, but with a name like “Happy Blend,” I’m betting it’s going to make me happy!
10. Leopard Two Piece: Ok, my niece had this suit when she came to visit. I will never be able to wear it at the same time as her, but it’s a super cute leopard suit. I usually stick to black swimwear, but ORDERED!
This month’s wish list only came to $136.41. That’s not too bad for 10 practical and very cute items. For easy shopping here’s what’s in my cart:

(By no means are these cents paying the rent! Hahaha! But in the hopes of being transparent, I thought you should know.)
