I love the beach! I just love it. I feel so extremely lucky to live 10 minutes away from this one. In Hong Kong, especially on the south side, one can get to whatever kind of beach they’re hoping for–in minutes. There’s one with huge waves (Big Wave Bay) and there’s another one with tons of people (Deep Water Bay). There’s another beach that’s about a kilometer long (Repulse Bay) and yet another that’s maybe 100 feet (Turtle Cove). All of these beaches line the south side of Hong Kong Island. The one I’m at, my favorite beach, is Chung Hom Kok. It’s usually quiet and always lush. And the best part–it’s just a hop, skip, and a jump away from my home!
During this particular sunset visit to the beach, I grabbed my very old and rather done white cover-up shirt; however, it’s been redressed! I died it a lavender color by seeping it with some purple sweet potatoes. Also, I finally wore my Christing C. St. Germain shorts. They’re silky and lacey plus paisley making them perfectly elegant for the beach.
