Usually when I look forward to my summer, I don’t think much about what to pack. The cabin has all my necessary Idaho essentials: jeans and cutoffs, sweatshirts and sweaters, tees and flannels. There’s also a collection of swimsuits and sundresses. Going home to my cabin wardrobe is like seeing an old friend.
This summer however, with no cabin visits and the entire time in Seattle, I’ve got to think a bit more strategically and perhaps a with a bit of style in mind–not much though because it’s still the Pacific Northwest.
Because there are many situations in Seattle when I can’t decide if I’m hot or cold, do I need to add another layer or not, I’ve got to live out of a versatile suitcase. Therefore, this summer I plan to embrace black bermudas. I’ve already ordered this skinny pair off Amazon. Then today I stumbled upon a flowy silk Grana pair at a secondhand sale!
Basically I think I’ll be living in black Bermudas all summer long. Based on these street style looks, they are very versatile! The other idea I have for my suitcase is going with black and white–it’s so easy yet chic.
Want some black Bermudas too?
From $28-$89, I found the pair for you. Or, an even easier idea is to check all your black slacks and hem a pair. (I would have done that but couldn’t find the perfect pair to chop. I’ve found plenty of other pants though…stay tuned!)
