Lately, I’ve been able to deviate from my usual sneaker wearing days. Sweet cowboy boots have entered my life. Somehow for me, cowboy boots are as comfortable as a pair of sneakers, and like my vast sneaker collection, my cowboy boots are growing in number as well.
First, I got these super cool black, gold, and metallic green pair. I couldn’t resist them despite the lack of green in my wardrobe. Then, when I feasted my eyes on the exact pair in black, snakeskin, and metallic ruby red, I didn’t bat an eye. I had to have them, and I’m so glad I got them. They are my super sweet cowboy boots. And I set out to style them all week long… check it out:
Monday
Originally I had a pair of grey leopard trousers on, but when I asked Kevin how my outfit looked, he gave me a negative. Kevin is always very, very forgiving with my fashion escapades, so when he tells me something doesn’t work, I listen. In fact, I gave those trousers away without a second thought. Instead, I wore my trusty A New Day suit from Target. It never disappoints! Check out how I wore it here.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, I liked my outfit soooo much I have it set for a post this Wednesday, so stay tuned. In the meantime, this is just a glimpse. Until then, here’s my dress.
Wednesday
I’m not sure what to do with these pants… Gigi laughed at them, but they are seriously so comfortable. They’re like a pair of sweats but with tons of sparkle. I wore them with a black, puff sleeved sweatshirt that I adore–as does my sister who (kind of) stole took my white one. (She’s already bought me a replica for this summer that is waiting for me.) What do you think of these cozy yet fancy lounge pants? Yay or nay?
Thursday
I wore a pair of my sister’s pants on this day. They’re the Everlane, wide legged, crop pant, and I think I’m in love. These pants feel chic. I paired them with a rhinestone turtleneck from HM–which has been a $10 no brainer. This outfit felt simple but just a bit elevated with the sparkle. I guess I tend to add sparkle to a lot of my every day outfits…
Friday
Finally on Friday I dressed down a bit with a pair of black Levi’s–also from my sister, and an off the shoulder sweatshirt. Funnily enough, I got to work and added a sparkle touch to my faux snake belt. I took a sparkly bracelet and wrapped it around the hook. I guess I need to accept that I like the bling factor!
What day is your favorite? Mine is Tuesday’s outfit, so stay tuned!
