Yesterday I featured the exact snake blazer but for a trip to the market in the morning. Now on this past Sunday–that will take you through the morning (yesterday’s post), afternoon (today’s post), and night(tomorrow’s post) –I’ve styled the snake blazer in preparation for meeting someone for an afternoon coffee. (Although this entire snake blazer feature is made up, I did get groceries after yesterday’s shoot, and after this one, I went to get an iced coffee. So, it’s all imaginary yet quite real all at the same time!)
Again, everything on the top remained the same: the snake blazer, black cami, necklace stack, and rhinestone earrings–which you’ll see close up at the end of this post. However this time, to dress up the outfit a bit, I swapped out my Levi 501s for a pair of black straight trousers. I opted for a metal belt that pulls out all the colors of the snake blazer. I went with my little cowboy studded booties (second-hand!). And this time around I went with a real luxury bag–an Oroton bucket bag that I won!
I think it’s very interesting to see little tweaks made here and there that can totally change the overall look of an outfit. Wouldn’t you agree? One side note of taking these pictures was how difficult it was. There were many outtakes with strangers in them or just half a stranger cut off. Even though Remota and I tried to make our presence known, it did not stop the crowds through my Stanley neighborhood. I will not complain; it’s just wonderful to have people milling about again. It’s been awhile since Stanley has had any visitors.
Here’s the earrings in all their glory. I’m such a sucker for rhinestone, and when I saw this pair at Cotton On, I had to have them–I mean they’ve got all the metallic colors!
Can you guess how I will style the snake blazer for the evening?!
