I frequent the beach–a lot. So, I think this advice can be something to seriously take in. I’m also 40 plus years old, about to turn one more year this February. I’m comfortable in my swimsuit, sometimes my two piece bikini. At present, I’m not about to take pictures solely in my swimsuit–although I have here in one of my post popular posts. So here’s my advice: find a sexy cover up that makes you feel great!
I have many posts on Kremb de la Kremb featuring me in a cover up. (I’ll link them at the end of this post.) There’s one thing I’m finding in common with many of them: I prefer a sexy cover up. The ones that are white or cream, lacy, and basically see through are definitely my preference. It’s not like the sexy cover up is racy–in fact I find them opposite. A little bit of skin can usually be seen hinting at the curvature of my figure, but not overtly. Even a plain white mens’ shirt makes for a very sexy cover up.
I gravitate towards a white cover up and a black bikini. It’s like my staple. It doesn’t scream “look at me,” so I feel subtle exposing myself in my swimsuit. I don’t mind that it’s a bit see through; in fact I can relax highlighting my figure and legs but not worry about holding in my gut or exposing the cellulite on my bottom. Basically, find a sexy cover up that makes you feel great at the beach! This is my solid advice.
This cover up I picked up on a beach somewhere. It’s become quite worn: it’s longer than it used to be and I’ve had to trim the ripped arm hole of one. I’m not ready to discard it yet though until it gets replaced by another. I have this same cover up in turquoise–it hardly gets worn because it’s too bright. Like I said I gravitate towards creams and whites for the beach.
Do you agree with my advice?
