Poncho Tuesday {Like Taco Tuesday but with Ponchos!}

For the Tuesdays in February I’ll be dedicated to styling my ponchos. I have a couple of ponchos, and it’s time for them to get some use. Ponchos are the perfect layering piece; wearing one is basically like wearing a blanket, and it they’re cashmere, it’s bound to be a very soft blankie. All the ponchos that I own are from my days in Beijing where the eternal blanket was necessary during those very cold winters. For our Hong Kong winters, the poncho makes the perfect outer layer when a full-on coat is not necessary but a little warmth is. Also, I almost forgot about my camouflage pants. These pants usually sit out at the cabin; I keep a set of clothes there so that I don’t have to pack much for the summer. (Truth be told I like to carry an empty suitcase on the way home, so I may bring an overly packed one back with me to Hong Kong. SHOPPING!!) In an attempt to dress up the camo I went with a pinstripe shirt. So I guess I felt rugged on the bottom with my moto boots and camouflage, and then dressier up top with the poncho, striped shirt, and hat. Yes, it’s all very random, but I like to think it works.
