Working with teenagers every day, I start to notice different trends emerging. The most recent item that I keep seeing almost every single day is the NASA trend–tons of kids are wearing NASA gear. I decided it was time to join.
If I’m going to wear the NASA trend the only way to style it up is in an out of this world sort of way–hence a silver sequin skirt and silver sneaks with stars on them. This outfit was super comfortable, and when I saw matching students in the library, I was able to have something in common with them–this is always a good thing!
I found a nifty style trick for this skirt; it’s probably about 4-6 inches longer than seen as worn here. I simply rolled the waistband a couple of times until I reached my desired length above my knees. This is like the Goldilocks length for me–not too short and not too long!
I’m not sure what my readers think, but I’m enjoying both a dose of reality each week alongside some day dreamer style. Next week, will be my last Fashion Week installment with a Parisian look…
