This is not meant to come across as an arrogant blog post, but I’m telling you: get a hairstyle that gives you compliments! Recently, I started wearing my hair in a straight bob. Boy, I hadn’t received this many compliments on my hair in ages! It was honestly so odd, but once a day I was hearing about my hair. It has slowed down, but really, once a week I get a compliment on my straight bob.
I don’t know what it is exactly, but heck, I’m not going to question it. Rather I’m going to run with it. In fact, in December in an effort to keep this hairstyle up, I chemically straightened my hair so I could give the salon a break. I was going once a week just for the blow outs.
Now that the hairs have been straightened I can maintain it myself. It’s just the grow out that will be tough. I’m anticipating the cowlick that’s about to arrive in the crown of my hair. No but really, in all honesty, this hairstyle has been such a boost to my confidence. May I recommend that whatever it may be, you find the style that compliments you.
I’ve had so many hairstyles in the last 8 years. I had long, nice wavy locks. Then I went to the pixie style. I rocked the mullet but I seemed to be the only one who liked that look. I’ve had bangs and waves, but it’s with my straight bob that people actually stop me to say, “I love your hair.” Who knows why THIS is the style, but it is, and I won’t question the why. I’m only going to accept it! So thank you for loving my straight bob!
