On another one of our Hong Kong summer vacation days, we ventured over across the harbor to Kowloon. We explored many of the markets in Mon Kok: the Flower Market, the Gold Fish market, and Temple Street market. (Hong Kong Extras has a great post about many of the markets in Hong Kong.) The markets we visited on this summer day were truly a sensory experience–vibrant colors, chaotic noise everywhere, and smells that are not very pleasing. All of it jumbled together created for fantastically fun-filled day!
Beautiful, bright flowers everywhere…
A very fascinated young man who since this excursion has earned his half of a bearded dragon…
A city scene plus some very hip t-shirts…
Bright ligths, big city…
Please tell me what your favorite market is in Hong Kong–or anywhere for that matter. I love markets all around the world!
