Lisa and LvO Boutique

Over a year ago, I met the most amazing woman: Lisa von Ortenberg. I was attending a Christmas bazaar, and there was this stand of completely remarkably chic dresses in the finest of silks. The owner of the stall, Lisa of LvO Boutique, was quite busy, but I hung around because I just wanted to meet her. I’m glad I did because she has become a really good friend.
Lisa’s dress designs have unique details like pockets, an extra ruffle, or an exaggerated collar–as found on the dress I’m wearing in this post. The fabrics are equisite–usually silk and in the prettiest of patterns. Take for example this super cute pink and red striped number. Look closer and there’s several colors of little polka dots all lined up.

Lisa sells her LvO Boutique designs in several ways: either at pop ups, at bazaars, or from her website. She’s especially flexible making sure her clients get exactly what they want. She also will design bespoke pieces for individuals and has made several wedding dresses for beautiful brides.

The dress I still dream about is the one that got away… it was the this adorable tartan plaid with puff sleeves and a cute full skirt. I should have bought it that very night when I first met her, but unfortunately to my loss I did not. That plaid number is the very dress I see when I see the letters LvO. Lisa–you know to make it for me if you ever see a silk plaid like that again.

This pink and red striped dress is the perfect Valentine dress–or better yet Galantine because Lisa is definitely one of my gals! I adore her, her talent, her creativity, but mostly the fun I have when I’m with her. Thursday nights have become our date night, and I’m already looking forward to next week’s.

Happy Galantine’s and Valentine’s to all of you! And a special shout out to Orvil–the kindest mom to one of my most favorite students ever: Taina! She ran into me while I was having my photo shoot with me, myself, and Remota. We got a cute pic together:

If you need a classy, chic dress, that will be so stylish you’ll feel beyond confident, do contact, follow, or simply go to Lisa. Here are all the ways to contact her and LvO Boutique: her website, Instagram, or email, lisa@vonortenberg.de.
