If I Could Go To Target

This #selfie picture is from my Instagram account during June, 2014!
The Target on the South Hill near both my mom and dad’s and sister’s house had opened.
Here’s to a Target five minutes away!

I love Target, a lot. This will sound really crazy, and maybe even pathetic, but Target is the one thing I really, really miss about not living in the States. I know. Stupid. But it’s the truth. Kevin was actually in the hometown of Target a week or so ago, and I was able to make an order. This got me thinking…. maybe once a month I’ll just pretend I can go to Target and make my wish list here on the blog. For this first time around, some of these items were actual real purchases!

1. Target has the best candles! In my opinion a great candle is one that has a second use after the wax has all been used up. In this instance, this cute cement canister is going to make for a great make up brush holder or desktop pencil dispenser. Oh, and the smell on this candle is heavenly!

2. I’ll talk more about The Stripe in a later blog post, but let’s just say I’m hooked to anything Grace Atwood has to say. When she recommended this mask, I had to try it, and true to her word, it’s pretty good.

3. I’ll try other mascaras, but the fact is, this is my mascara. I can’t find anything that’s better, and every now and then I try. But really, ScandalEyes by Rimmel are the best eyes! *wink wink*

4. I have an H&M lipstick called Roaring Twenties that I will always be trying to replace. It’s the most beautiful metallic, rosy, blush lipstick I’ve ever worn. Unfortunately I mucked up the tube–I hate it when that happens! Anyway, I’m forever trying to find it’s dupe. This one called Goals is not it, but it is a nice coral metallic lippy.

5. Sugarfix by Bauble Bar makes great earrings. I gave these ones a try. The only drawback is they’re half the size I thought they’d be. They’re about a nickle in size when I thought they’d be at least a quarter.

6. Well, this was the wrong purchase. I meant to buy the charcoal cleanser, but now I have two charcoal masks. Oh well. Mask away! But I prefer the cleanser stick. This may be two much information, but I use it to scrub my arm pits–which makes them feel perfectly clean. I think it’s the exfoliant in the product that works like a charm.

7. Ok, ok. I am one silly lady, but sometimes I just have to have something, and these silver cowboy boots fell in that category. If I’m honest, they’re a bit disappointing. The heel is a tad too high and the pleather does look like pleather–of the cheap variety. I’ll have to style them soon, so my readers can weigh in on these silver studs.

8. I kept asking Kevin if there was anything else…. I then went to check the order to see that I didn’t actually order this sweatsuit. I sure wish I had. It’s adorable! And it looks so comfy. Being cute and cozy is one of my favorite things. Oh well. I’ll just have to daydream about it.

9. No, I did not order wine. But. BUT! This is why I miss Targé! If I lived in the States, I would definitely be drinking this adorably packaged Rosé. Yes, I’m a sucker for packaging!
