There’s a lady at work who can wear a dress! I mean it!! Every time I see her, she’s sporting a different dress, and it always looks amazing on her. This dress was purchased in hopes of pulling off a dress the same way she does. (Yes, Sarah, I’m talking about you!) However, I purchased it at a shop where you can’t try on until you’ve bought it. I know; silly right?! (They have a lot of random little shops like that in HK. It’s ok; it makes for surprises!) Anyway, obviously once I got this dress on, I realized it would always be too short for school, yet, it does make for a nice fall, hot weather, weekend dress.
These funky shoes are what drew me into this can’t-try-anything-on store. I instantly fell in love with these shoes, no boots, no runners, no sandals….well what are they!? They’re all of the above, and they are super comfy and make for a great weekend, city shoe.
Green, in all of its shades, is very hip for this fall. The pop of orange and navy background also drew me to this dress. I paired it with my Nars Heat Wave, a pair of big army green gem earrings, and a multi colored bauble from the Pearl Market in Beijing.
This hairdo was easy! First, I bent over backwards, and combed my hair to the top of my head and put it in a pony tail. Then while still upside down, I braided the pony. Next I wrapped the tail around the base and secured it to form a braided top bun. The benefit of this hairdo is nice beachy waves set for the next day.
Go Jungle GI Annie go! You always look ready for action. Love it! Jane xxx
Thank you dear GI Jane! Oh man, I can’t wait to see you in November….Love, Annie
