A graphic tee on me is nothing new. I wear them all the time. My tee shirt drawer is stuffed to the max. If I see one that speaks to me–literally–I get it. I actually rarely say no to a graphic tee. It’s silly because I need another one like a hole in my head. But, like I said, they speak to me and give me a message I want to share. And, if a tee has the evil eye on it, well it’s a no brainer!
Slip skirts… those are a different story. I’ll wear a mini skirt any day, but with the popularity of this midi style skirt, I’m giving them a try. If I’m honest, I did find the skirt comfortable; however I need to nix the bobby socks and stick with a sock-less sneaker. In my opinion I think the socks ruined my outfit here. Also, I’m a bit tired of my Old Skool Vans. I don’t know why; it’s probably because too many people have them, and I prefer to be more original with my sneakers.
Now that I’m back to work/school, I’m having fun getting dressed. It’s like playing dress up every single day. Of course it’s a hit or miss sometimes, but I especially love the “hit” days! It’s on those successful days where I walk a little taller with pride, enjoy a pep to my step all because of what I’m wearing. Dressing and what I wear each day really can make my day. Basically I love getting dressed each morning.
Last Tuesday I featured a bunch of graphic tees from Target. Having no Target nearby is a bummer, but I still manage to do fine in the graphic tees department. My go to place is Cotton On. Every time I enter the store, they’re having a promotion: two for $180 HKD (that’s $23 USD). It’s very hard for me to walk out without two new tee shirts added to my ever growing collection. When I bought this zodiac/evil eye tee for the twofer deal, I also got a Grateful Dead tour tee that I can’t wait to wear. I’m thinking for that band I may need to pull out some sequins…
Shop Some Cotton On Graphic Tees
I will most likely end up with a lot of these…
