Happy New Year!
It’s true! I’m going for “RAD” in 2015! Ha ha, I’m such an 80s girl; I still say “rad” all the time. It’s like a word that has stayed perpetually as my perfect adjective. When I saw this tee hanging in the back of the Bershka shop in Kuta, Bali of all places, I made a beeline. I knew it would be the perfect compliment to my “rad” silver sequin shorts to bring in the new year. These shorts make their rounds: last year when we were with Mary for New Year’s, she wore them. They made an appearance on my 40th and also for Beijing’s techno concert. They’re basically the perfect festive piece which is why I strongly believe every woman just needs a little bit of sparkle. Our last hotel in Bali, Puri Dajuma Cottages, was out in the middle of the north western part of the island near a little town called Medewi. It was secluded hence we only had the beach to explore which was just perfect for finishing our vacation. We body surfed, swam, walked, read….just did all the relaxing things one can accomplish on vacation!
I choose a lippy theme when I travel. This time around I brought a handful of my Mood Matcher colors–there’s blue, yellow, green, and they all stain my lips brightly in pretty hot pinks and coral oranges. For the new year, I stuck with red–of course! (To have fun with these lippies, I recommend just getting the 10 pack which is a great buy here on Amazon. You never do know which color will suit you best….)
Gigi found this cute little froggy nestled in a rock. It took a keen eye to spot this camouflaged creature.
