Festival season is on! Therefore some festival season outfit ideas are needed. I love attending music festivals–Hong Kong’s major music festival, Clockenflap, usually occurs during the month of November. (Here are my outfits from 2017 and last year’s 2018.) Basically, regardless if you’re attending a music festival in Australia, the UK, or the USA, there are always a couple of essentials. I’ll point them out:
Cowboy Boots
Cowboy boots are one of the easiest clothing items to make a festival style statement. Not only are they comfortable, but they’re also great dancing shoes. Comfort is key for a three day, all day long, fun filled weekend.
Belt Bags
Purses and handbags are a bad idea. I want my hands free! They’re gonna help me boogie down. A bum bag, waist belt, fanny pack–whatever it’s called–is the best way to store some tissues and wet wipes, money, lippy, camera and phone, plus any other festival essentials.
DIY Patches
Patched anything equals uniqueness. I can always bet on no one else looking like me if I wear one of my DIY patched goodies.
White Flowy Dresses
There’s nothing more romantic than a breezy, flowy white dress. In fact, next Monday, I’ll be showcasing my festival look for Spring 2019, and it will definitely exhibit a white flowy number!
Statement Jackets
Chances are the temps usually cool down, so choosing a statement jacket is key.
Western Vibes
Think like a cowboy–be a cowboy!
Cutoffs are Key
When all else fails, don a pair of cutoffs. They’re the very best style of shorts in the whole wide world–at least according to me!
I’m probably missing something…in that case come back next Monday to see my festival look for Spring, 2019!
