Last February I started a Date Night series on Kremb de la Kremb (you can read February, March, May, and June’s dates). This series really helps to get Kevin and me on a date! The kids are old enough now that we can start going on dates again–especially as they become socially busy too! Family date nights are also fun though, so in addition to Kevin and my date nights, we will attempt a family date night once a month as well. There was no better place to start than 4th and Main Pizza out at Spirit Lake! This family run business is one of the best in Spirit Lake. Special family trips to Italy have been made to get the pizza and gelato just right. And their homemade sausage…well there’s nothin’ like it! At the very least, going to 4th and Main once is a must. This last summer we saved it for Kevin’s last night out at the lake–and then the kids and I headed there one more time for our last night a week later.
A pizza loaded with pepperoni and sausage with half in olives works perfectly for us. Plus their chef salad (not shown) fits the bill for a healthier option for Kevin and me. Leftover pizza for breakfast is the best!
On this particular night the kids opted for Knick Knack Paddy Wack’s ice cream–also a fave in town!
Kevin and I opted for other vices like beer and wine instead of ice cream. 4th and Main offer this little individual sized wine bottle perfect for one class of wine.
