Whoa. And wow! I have now just come up for a breath of fresh New Year air. I know the exact moment I got sick: it was December 31st at 7 pm. I turned to my niece and said, “I think I need to lay down for a moment.” It’s now 13 days later, and I finally feel like myself again. I haven’t been this sick in a really, really long time.
To say my blog has been neglected since December 5th would be an understatement. In fact these pictures were meant for a month ago–better late than never right? *fingers crossed*
I have some lofty goals for Kremb de la Kremb: first I want to run my first survey and hear from you my readers. It’s also time for a new theme–which always gives a nice fresh start. I won’t make any newsletter promises, especially when making weekly posts should be the first writing goal. It’s a good sign that I’ve missed writing here; that means I’m ready to start posting regularly again.
I ended up having acute bronchitis. It’s still with me, but at least now I can function. All last week I laid in bed and deliriously thought about reading or watching tv, but even those two activities couldn’t occur. Now, today, with my first day back to work in 2020, I feel ready to tackle the new year.
Sometimes things don’t goes as planned–like celebrating the new decade, but hey, it’s not going to damper my year! Here’s to an amazing 2020!
It’s a day late and a dollar short, BUT happy New Year!!
