Oh I love Clockenflap! It’s such a fun weekend!! From listening to cool tunes to people watching cool folks, the weekend is a thrill for me. This time around I brought my little point and shoot and took over 600 pictures. Eeek! I know. I’ve chosen just 40 for this post, so if you want to skip, no hard feelings. But, if you enjoy people watching as much as me, keep reading….
Cashmere Cat was RAD! He’s so cool to watch. Both Kevin and I turned to one another and said how we could see Gigi up there doin’ that sort of thing.
Kevin was amazed at how easy it was to take peoples’ pictures. I explained to Kevin that if you are dressed to impress you will gladly have your pic taken–and pose for it to!!
Elle Banna was making the kids scream and the adults freak! In that basket that’s being pulled, there are some live beings that move around. Because I got such a cool pic of Elle Banna, I was able to talk to her and show her this awesome picture I got of her. (Well at least I think she’s a her. She had a special twinkle to her one eye–plus some pretty curves.).
This jacket–no words.
And this one! After last week’s leopard print extravaganza, I couldn’t wait to meet this individual. She picked up this roarrrring awesome jacket in Bangkok. It’s so SWEEEET!
Speaking of sweet. I have so much fun with KevStar!!
We ate at Mana each day. Their wraps are insane and their pita chips with hummus are pretty darn good too!
Turkish girlfriends. They looked so cute together.
That smile stopped me in my tracks!
I stood and danced next to this stylish dude. There’s something about him that’s so cute.
This punk band, Slaves, from the UK made me really, really like punk.
All the cool music was at this stage. We pretty much listened to all our music here. It’s definitely more of the alternative stage. Loved it!
It wouldn’t be a proper Clockenflap without a lil’ rain! Luckily it only rained a little bit on Saturday night. Phew!!
These lovers–they almost needed a room! Hahaha!
Please notice what is around her waist. I wore one every day. It’s a music festival must!!
See the leopard thing around my waist! Plus, Gigi let me borrow her tee.
The story and history behind this Northern African band is worth reading about. They were so fun and interesting to listen to.
Irish lassies–so cute! The one on the left is a former fellow fashion blogger, Bombers and Blondes. Sinead was very sweet, and I recommend her as an Instagram follow.
The HK crew.
Fanny packs!!
The Pacific Northwest was represented by The Dandy Warhols!
Mø is AWESOME!!
My subtle yet stylish dude.
This ended up being my favorite band of the weekend: the Young Fathers from Scotland.
Last but not least, Hong Kong has it’s Season’s Greetings ON!!!
I hope you enjoyed this pic heavy post. I think I’ll be buying my tickets for next year’s Clockenflap right now!
Did you go to Clockenflap? What were your favorite shows? What were some of your highlights?
I absolutely loved this Ann!! You did a great job of selecting shots that immersed us in the wild, entertaining sites and sounds that make up this festival. You and kevin were clearly appreciating every moment. Thank you for sharing. I’m off to check out Young Fathers on Pandora.
It was so fun! And I think it’s safe to say this here (because Kevin NEVER visits this blog!): for Christmas I think I will give him tickets to next year. It’s such fun. And keeps us a bit young and hip. Brings back a little romance from those concert days when we were just pups!
What do you think? Good Xmas gift?
A x
Excellent Christmas gift!
I think you should craft him a special t-shirt to (wrap up) with some funky art and “CLOCKENFLAP 2018” across the front or back…
