We headed to Ocean Park today, but we were sent home with the rain that ensued. No worries though; we got in some good fun!
My Kiddos
I celebrated my 12th Mother’s Day this Sunday. Vincent’s birthday and Mother’s Day come together each year. I remember on my first Mother’s Day he was finally able to come home from the hospital with me. I left three days earlier than him as he was taken to the ICU moments after he was born.Continue reading My Kiddos
BOHOL
Bohol was the perfect place to try out the new camera. Take a look (no edits–all straight from the camera!):
Surprise! We’re Going to the Beach!
For Spring Break this year, we surprised the kids for the first time! Of course we decorated our eggs for Easter, BUT, the Easter Bunny got a hold of them. He put a message on each of the eggs that needed decoding. Once the kids figured out the clue, the message said, Do you wantContinue reading Surprise! We’re Going to the Beach!
Team Kremb de la Kremb for St. Baldrick’s
We are so proud of Vincent and Gigi! When they both found out that our school would be running St. Baldrick’s, both of them very willingly wanted to participate in this great event with such a worthy cause. St. Baldrick’s is a fundraising event that raises money through sponsorship of shaving one’s head. The donationsContinue reading Team Kremb de la Kremb for St. Baldrick’s
Biking in Tai Po
I work with such a cute lady: her name is Pion. She’s sweet, kind, totally efficient (she helps me greatly in the library), and quite adventurous. Since I know she goes either biking or hiking every weekend, I asked her to take our family on our first biking excursion. She took us to an areaContinue reading Biking in Tai Po
Incredible India
Many schools provide students with a traveling experience that promotes service, culture, adventure, and most importantly bonding amongst each other. At HKIS this trip is called Interim. There are 40 different locations for the kids to choose from. When I arrived this school year to HKIS, I was told I’d be going in one ofContinue reading Incredible India
Should we get a nice camera?
So, for my birthday, we had access to a Nikon 300D. None of us (well I should say the three of us as Kevin would have nothing to do with it!) knew what we were doing, but we had fun playing. There’s a used Canon 60D for sale from a colleague, and I’m thinking aboutContinue reading Should we get a nice camera?
Kremb de la Kremb Highlights of 2012
We had a wonderful impromptu dance party on December 31, 2012. What preceded it was one of our favorite meals of late: homemade, individually made pizzas. At the dinner table, the discussion concluded the year with each of our top highlights. Below you can find some favorite memories from each of us: Kevin DuringContinue reading Kremb de la Kremb Highlights of 2012
Gilded in Gold
I love jewelry! I always have. I remember forever coveting what my grandmother wore. She stacked, she arm partied, she wore it all. Sometimes, I like to do the same–just like Grandma Soogie did. I gild myself in gold. I love that jewelry tells a story. There are two on my left wrist. The watchContinue reading Gilded in Gold

You’re Never too Old to Sit on Santa’s Lap
Today we went to visit Santa. I think it might have been for the last time. This makes quite sad of course. Maybe in the future I can get the kids to take me to see Santa. Although next year and the year after I think we’ll be able to get our kids to helpContinue reading You’re Never too Old to Sit on Santa’s Lap
