A Little Walk Down (My Blogging) Memory Lane

Thank you to so many of you out there who took my reader survey. (It’s still open for you to take if you’d be so kind.) Before I post the results on Wednesday, I wanted to take a little walk down my blogging memory lane. It was back in 2012 that my blog started taking a turn away from the family and toward my style endeavors. It started gradual and then became more steady. It also started off so amateurly, and while I am still a novice at this, I want to say I have gotten somewhat better at blogging. As I took a tour down my blogging past, I had a good laugh at some of my posts. Then there were others where I could see I was maybe getting the hang of it. Either with my style, the photography, or my edits, the following posts grabbed my attention:

This dress has a very old history; it’s my Rehearsal Dinner Dress after all. There’s something about this portrait of me that I really like.

Here’s an honest portrayal of me actually Waiting for the Bus. After Kevin took these shots for me, I headed into town for an Annie Day. Something I still do on the regular.

I put this outfit together for Halloween. Boo! Then I had a lot of fun tinkering around with the editing. I especially love the hanging legs shot (the featured image for this blog post).

I have since found the Lost Feather earring. It’s in this post that I realize how much I care about the backdrop just as much as the outfit. I find that my setting needs to either match or compliment my outfit in some way to better tell the style story.

I love this Cafe Chic look that I put together and actually did wear to work on this day. There are so many patterns and textures colliding, but I love it. I’ve always wanted to replicate this look again. I wonder what’s stopping me….

Some things never change like my Leopard Love. This may be my most favorite outfit ever–I love all the leopard at once.

Oh, My Long Hair was so beautiful. While I do enjoy my short, straight bob right now, I will try to have this long, wavy, beautiful hair again. It’ll take years, but I think it’s up next for my future, future hair do.

I usually this yellow wall a lot–I mean it’s right across the street from my house, so the ease is unreal. I think this was the first time I used it though, and I think the whole look. My Happy Brights post makes me smile–with a baguette to boot!

I had such fun with this Dior Inspired outfit–that I did indeed wear to work. I must replicate this experience again. It was very, very cool.

How to Wear the Black Bra is by far my most popular post. It’s viewed daily. I need to figure out what I did right with this post and then apply those details to all future blog posts.

This DIY Acid Wash Jean Jacket is my second most popular post. It makes sense because this jean jacket was sooooo easy to make!

Finally in this Ballerina Wannabe post, I share my vulnerability that I don’t usually . And unfortunately, with my new hip Pinky, I am not able to bend into this pose anymore.

See? Wasn’t that a fun walk down my blogging memory lane?
I stopped at a dozen, but I’m sure I could find a dozen more. Do you have any favorite Kremb de la Kremb blog posts that stick out in your memory of my blog? I’m just curious….
